Placing Orders
You are free to browse our products and add them to the shopping bag. When you are ready to check out, click on the "Shopping Bag" link at the top of every page and fill out your information. We ask that you review your order carefully prior to submission, as it may not be modified once submitted.

Order Confirmation
Upon successfully placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation number as well as an email that states your order number and the list of products you have purchased. Please remember to provide us with a valid email address! If you do not receive any confirmation, please place the order again or contact us for more information.

Payment Options
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
You can also take advantage of PayPal's added security, whether or not you have a PayPal account. Simply select PayPal at checkout. All prices are in U.S. dollars.

Sales Tax
We are required to collect local sales tax for residents of California. Sales tax is currently 8.75%. Sales tax does not apply to orders that ship outside of California.

E-Gift Cards
If you have received an E-Gift Card, you can redeem it during checkout. Enter the code in the "Coupon Code / Promotional Code" section and click "Apply". Your order total will be adjusted accordingly. If the total exceeds the amount of your E-Gift Card, your account will be charged the outstanding order balance. The information on your credit card will not be used for any other purpose.

Order Updates
If one or more products in your order are out of stock, we will email you within 48 hours with expected availability. You may cancel the order if the product will be unavailable for over 2 weeks. If we do not receive any response about the out-of-stock product(s) and other order changes within 1 week, we will ship the rest of your order without the missing items.

Most orders are ready for shipping within 2 business days of ordering, while some orders may take additional time. If there is any unforeseen delay to your order, you will be notified as soon as possible. During high volume holiday seasons, please allow up to 3 business days for order processing. Please note that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

We work with UPS and United States Postal Service (USPS) to provide cost-effective shipping. Because we individually review delivery options for each and every order to find you the quickest, most cost-effective solution, items that are ordered together may not necessarily be shipped together.

    Our 30-Day Satisfaction Guaranteed Return Policy

    If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly take care of it for you!

    Return Instructions
    To ensure that your return is handled promptly, you must obtain a Return Authorization Code (RA#) before returning your order to us. Once you decide that you need to return your purchase, email your request to immediately (preferable within 15 days of receipt to ensure that your return remains valid). In the email, include the following information:

    1. Order Number
    2. Buyer Name
    3. Item(s) to be returned
    4. Reason for return

    You will receive an RA# within 2 business days of your request. Items returned without an RA# will not be accepted. Return packages must arrive at our location within 30 days of the original purchase date. If you have not heard from us after 2 business days, please email us again. Your initial request may not have reached us.

    Returning Merchandise
    Enclose a copy of the email, the original packing slip and the merchandise you are returning in the package. Label the package clearly with the RA#. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost, as well as any shipping fees incurred in the case of an exchange. We recommend that you use a return shipping method that has tracking and/or insurance services since we cannot offer any refund for items that do not arrive at our location.

    Merchandise must be returned in its original condition & packaging including any tags & special components. Merchandise that are used, worn, soiled or altered by the customer will be refused, discarded or returned to buyer at buyer's expense.

    We reserve the right to refuse any requests and returns or apply restocking fees to returned packages that are received beyond our 30-day guarantee period.

    Gift Returns
    If you received a gift from Old Shanghai Online and would like to return or exchange it, please contact us within our 30-day guarantee for assistance. You will receive Old Shanghai Online store credit for the dollar amount of the item. Payment may be required if the exchange amount exceeds the cost of the return item.     Packing Errors and Damages
    Upon receiving your order, inspect the package carefully. Please contact us within 2 days upon receipt if there is a packing error or damages in your order to ensure that we can review your case and resolve the issue for you right away.

    Refund Process
    Once a return package arrives at our location, it may take up to 10 business days to process the refund. Refunds will be credited back to your original method of payment. Restocking fee may apply if there are issues with the returned merchandise. Original shipping & handling charges are non-refundable.
